Partnering for decades to come

Oklahoma Primary Aluminum is a major industrial project and will need goods and services during construction and for decades ahead once the plant is operational.

This will create significant opportunities for local companies to expand, for entrepreneurs to establish new businesses, and for local people to find new job opportunities.

Our majority parent company EGA has a long track record of working with local businesses at its existing plants. EGA currently spends around $2 billion each year on goods and services from local suppliers near these plants.

Our other partner, Century Aluminum operates two U.S. plants, which contribute significantly to regional and statewide economies. The Sebree, Kentucky plant is responsible for $750 million economic impact statewide per year, while the Mt. Holly, South Carolina plant is responsible for $892 million of economic impact statewide per year.

Opportunities for local firms

As project planning advances, Oklahoma Primary Aluminum will build a network of local suppliers to support construction and operations, strengthening local partnerships. Additional information about opportunities for local firms will be shared as planning moves forward.
