Homeland Security Secretary Markwayne Mullin backs Inola smelter project

Department of Homeland Security Secretary Markwayne Mullin voiced support for the proposed aluminum smelter in Inola, calling the project a national security issue. Secretary Mullin said domestic aluminum production could reduce reliance on imports while creating jobs and expanding the tax base for local schools, municipalities and first responders.
